Democratic National Conention-  was the 1964 presidential nominating convention of the Democratic Party.

Freedom riders/riders-  were civil rights activists that rode interstate buses into the segregated southern United States to test the United States Supreme Court decision Boynton v. Virginia (of 1960).

Freedom schools (Mississippi) 1964 - were temporary, alternative free schools for African Americans mostly in the South

Freedom summer-  was a campaign in the United States launched in June 1964 to attempt to register as many African American voters as possible in Mississippi

Integration- an act or instance of combining into an integral whole.
