Week 1 Vocabulary Definitions and Example Sentences

Tradition(noun)-the handing down of statements, beliefs, legends, customs, information, etc
Period(noun)-a rather large interval of time that is meaningful in the life of a person, in history, etc.
Primary(noun)-something that is first in order, rank, or importance.
Primary(adj.)-first or highest in rank or importance.
                                    SENTENCES
Tradition (noun) - By tradition, girls ask boys to the T
olo dance.

Period (noun) - Be sure to use a period at the end of each complete sentence.Primary (noun) - Schwartzenegger won the Republican seat in the primary election in California.Primary (adjective) - The primary reason for having our packet day tomorrow is that Ms. S has a meeting. The secondary reason is that she is awesome.
